I have been bass fishing for over sixty years since I was six years old. Earlier this year I thought I might concentrate on waters that might yield a double digit fish. After one trip to Casitas, I decided that Castaic was much closer to home and would give me the best chance for a real trophy bass. I purchased their annual pass, and began fishing the lower lake. Last week a friend told me of an area where there were bedded bass. As I no longer fish bedded bass, the next day I spent the entire day throwing a large huddleston trout swimbait, smeared with Pro-Cure Rainbow Trout Gel, and at about 3:30 PM my bait was slammed. I knew I was on a big fish and I know my pulse rate doubled. After I had retrieved about ten feet of line, it seemed as though I was snagged. This was only momentary as the head shaking started again and it was "Game On." She started to come up to jump and I pushed my rod tip down into the water, and as she reached the surface I saw the biggest mouth I have ever had on the end of my line. Pulse rate now into quad. She lead me almost completely around my boat, before coming to the net. When I reached into the net to remove her I just couldn't believe her size. I have seen bass like this in pictures, but to lift your own, out of the net is an indescribable feeling. My partner that day (Vic Villa) used my camera to take pictures, we weighed her at 11 lb. 7 ounces and I then prepared to release her. She was very listless even though she was out of the water, or the live well only for very brief periods. After trying to work her back and forth in the water I finally asked Vic to get on the trolling motor so we could pull her through the water and after about twenty feet she gave a big tail slap, splashed me in the face, and headed for the bottom like a rocket. I felt great knowing that I would perhaps have another chance to meet this fine lady again someday. Two days later Vic and I were fishing again and he slammed a 10 LB. 10 ounce I cannot describe the feeling of satisfaction you get, when you intentionally target these giants and have the good fortune to catch one. I sincerely wish you all, the thrill of one day catching such a fish. I firmly believe that the perseverance to continue throwing the big bait smeared with the Rainbow Trout attractant, were the primary factors in my fish of a lifetime.

17 year old James Puricelli of Shenandoah, Iowa was fishing on a guided trip his grandmother friend purchased for him with local guide Bruce Hamby of Sierra Sportfishing. The fish was caught trolling a whole anchovy that had been injected with Pro-Cure’s Anchovy oil. Bruce Hamby Sierra Sport Fishing 209-599-2023
We were out fun fishing and just to prove a point I smeared all the lures on one side of my boat with the Trophy Walleye scent, and on the other side of the boat I ran the exact same lures, the exact same depth, and at the same distances back without the Pro-Cure on them. The Pro-Cure treated side out fished the unscented side 7 to 1. Now for some great eating! Thank you Pro-Cure. Rick Gruebele, tournament angler
