The PRO-CURE Photo and Hot Tip Contest
Matt Campbell, August 2006 AUGUST 2006

WINNER

i was fishing with my grandpa on the skeena river when i landed a 63 lbs salmon, we were using a hot shot with eggs done out with all the pro cure goodies slamola, monster bite, ect. it took 45 minutes then finally we seen it was on its side coming to the boat but my grandpa thought i got to get a good angle on this fish to net it but it started to spin like an alligator and the bottom on the net mesh rapped around its head and mouth. the hook came out but it was tangled with the net so my grandpa pulled the fish closer to him and grabbed its gills with two hands and he lifted it above his head and dropped it in the boat. the fish was bucking like a wild bronco. i jumped on it and it was lifting me off the ground. i took a timmys coffee mug and killed it.

I caught this 14 lb summer steelhead in the Kalama River canyon August 20,2006. I was using Chinook eggs cured in orange pro-cure, 10lb fluorocarbon leader and #2 hook. I was fishing a deep hole in extremely clear water, it was like fishing in an aquarium. The fish came out from between two boulders and nailed the eggs! Thanks for your great product.

This Chinook was caught using salmon roe cured with Pro-Cure Red Hot Double Stuff. Your product is great and I use it all the time. This fish was a live release on the Kalum river April 29th in Terrace B.C. It was approximately 50 lbs.

Hello PRO-CURE,
We decided on short notice to go for Mako sharks, but we couldn’t find any bait. We were forced to run lures smeared in your Sardine Super Gel. I released my first fish of 70 plus pounds, but kept this 145 pounder. In the past I had never caught a Mako on a lure. The Super Gel kicks butt!
